Wilson nominally created the Moms' next album Totally Free (1967), which was recorded in November 1966, and afterwards combined in The big apple, Whilst by this time Zappa was in de facto Charge of most sides of the output. It showcased extended playing through the Mothers of Invention and focused on songs that described Zappa's compositional style
